A women writer I like! • • • • • (bewertet mit 4 von 5 Punkten) I'm A guy who you usually doesn't care for female authors, the on exception is Ms. Clark. I can't put my finger on exactly why, probable it is tight plots with plenty of twists and turns and sugar coating anything. In this outing we have Liza Barton Who shoots and Kills her abusive father as a child, the shooting is ruled an accident but many in the community suspect more and many compare her to the infamous Lizzy Bordan. " Lizzy Borden took an axe, gave her mother forty wacks." Anway, years later as an adult Liza's has changed her name to Celia to hide her true ID. Shes is trying to sell the old family home, where the murders took place when the Real Estate agent turns up dead. Of course her past comes back to haunt her. There are plenty of suspicious characters to go around in this one, and though the reader is forced to suspend disbelief in a few places, it is overall an other good read from Ms. Clark. One other recommendation, do check out "A Tourist in The Yucatan" thriller/mystery that has become the underground hit of 2005! Eine Rezension von "jank1716"
